Man, that poor horse looks terrible. I know I should practice, but I keep putting off until it's too late. Other than that, I don't have too much to say about this page.
Slightly Damned Vote for SD on Top Web Comics? - Amazingly I drew this without realizing that Thanksgiving in the US would be over for two days before I uploaded it. Ah well, just think of it as telling you to enjoy your leftovers.
Anyway, onto more important news: a new donation drive for the comic will begin on Tuesday! Yes, that's right: starting on December 1st Slightly Damned will be in donation drive mode. That means that when $100 in donations is reached, I'll upload a new page of the comic IN ADDITION to the regular Saturday pages. I'll also have an exclusive Christmas-themed donation wallpaper available for anyone who donates. There is no minimum donation requirement, meaning that even if you give as little as a penny, I'll still give you the wallpaper and I'll still count it.
A few things to keep in mind: I'm not superhuman so I probably won't be able to keep up with pages as they're earned. I will, however, keep track of how many I owe and update much more often to work through any backlog I might build up, though. Also, this donation drive is more about getting through a chunk of storyline quickly rather than a sudden financial crisis. It's just a good way to motivate me AND raise advertising funds!
Hey all, just popping in to say I updated a few things. First of all, all the Oh No Robot transcripts are now up to date with the current page (347). Second, I split the fanart section into a number of different sections because one page with all the art was getting too bloated. Third, the fanart gallery has been updated with art from Crixan, Gezz, Imako-kun, Naorou no Hourou, The Soul Eater, and Viejo12.
The only reason this page was late is because I was lazy and procrastinated.
The puppet gag feels kind of like an homage to the absurd humor present in the comic's early days. You know, my friend Tucker made a Death puppet for me a long time ago. It's adorable. You can see it in the Slightly Damned site's fanart gallery.
And here's the comic, finally. Sorry for making you wait for a lackluster page. I don't really like the art in this one, although I do want to say that I would love to read a version of the Beauty and the Beast that involves zombie hordes and ultra canons.
Notice that Rhea didn't tell Buwaro that his being weak and stupid wasn't true.
The page will be a little late this weekend. I mean, it wouldn't have been late, but on Wednesday my computer decided it would basically implode and refuse to boot up. After a lot of frustration, I've got it working again, and I saved all my data, but I can't finish the page on time. To tell you the truth, I'm going to a BBQ tomorrow for the whole day.
But even then, the comic should be up either late Saturday night or early Sunday morning for those of you living in the US. Just sit tight!
So I added the new vote incentive, in which Rhea, Buwaro, and Snowy play dress-up for a game I'm currently enjoying.
Keep people kept asking, so here's the third row explained: 1) A reference to a scene in my friend Arborwin's comic, Grayling. 2) The cow is from my friend Glaucus' comic, Untitled: The Good Life. 3) A reference to a doll in my friend Bugbyte's comic, Messenger. 4) A reference to page 255 of SD. In turn, skulls with pink glitter is an in-joke I share with my friend Yuzuha.
